• Discuss the benefits of using medical terminology.
• Name at least one basic rule of medical terminology.
• Define at least three medical terms from each of the following body areas: 1) the eyes, ears & nose; 2) the heart, lungs & blood vessels; 3) the skin, muscle & bones; 4) the digestive system; 5) the urinary system; and 6) the reproductive system.
• Demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology in communication with co-workers and in written documentation.
